Big news from the pasture: on August 1, a healthy Black Angus calf was born right here at The Palm Ranch — and we’re proud to report that momma did just fine and needed no help!
She handled the labor like a champ — calm, steady, and strong. That’s the kind of resilience we’ve come to expect from our cattle, raised on open land with clean water, fresh air, and the freedom to live naturally. After a few quiet hours under the shade of a live oak along a fence line our ranch team spotted the little one making its way to her feet and nursing — a sure sign that this calf is off to a strong start!
From First Steps to Full Strength
Over the next few years, this calf will graze freely across our Northwest Florida pastures, growing on nothing but sunshine, lush green grass, and those good angus genetics. We believe cattle should be raised slow and natural — no synthetic shortcuts and no stress.
When the time comes, this animal will be harvested humanely and with purpose, helping to feed growing families across our region — and further the mission of The Palm Cattle Company
“Ten For Good” — Feeding the Community, One Calf at a Time
Every birth on the ranch plays a part in something bigger. Through our “Ten For Good” community program, 10% of all our beef is donated to support food-insecure families and nonprofit partners across rural Northwest Florida.
This new calf will grow up to be part of that mission — because good beef should do more than taste good. It should do good!
